We have unfortunate news for fans of Acadien physical comedy, children's music, and high-flying fiddle antics: Chuck & Albert, a duo slated to perform at the 2011 DCMF, have cancelled their performance.

According to management, Albert Arsenault, the duo's fiddler, suffered a finger injury to a power saw; surgical correction will restore the use of the finger but not in time to perform this summer.  The group sends their apologies to their Northern fans and hopes to return to the region in the future.
