Stop by to check it out! Summer Sundays in Dawson mean just one thing these days, and that’s dancing your ass off to the soulful sounds of the Klondike Funk Association. Fronted by the sassy and gifted singer Lue Maxwell, the KFA also features Fred Osson - aka Saxaphone Freddie – on, well, sax, plus Matt Monoogian on guitar and vocals, Sam Coxwell on bass, and Guy Chan on drums. Playing an infectiously danceable mix of classic soul, funk and R& B classics, the KFA have been honing their chops for several summers now and are primed and ready to take the stage under the big tent and get our Saturday night party started.
