2021 Songwriter in Residence Program
ATTN SONGWRITERS: The Dawson City Music Festival Association is now accepting applications for our 2021 Songwriter in Residence Program. The program brings a musician to Dawson City for a month-long stay (January 2021), where the Artist receives studio and living space. Previous participants have deeply involved themselves with the local community and have found it to be an enriching, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, only Artists residing in Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and British Columbia may apply. As the situation evolves, we may accept applicants from elsewhere, and we will announce in advance of the deadline.
This program is offered in partnership with the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture and the North Klondyke Highway Music Society.
