Sophie Noel is a contemporary folk songwriter based in Dawson City, YT. Her melody-driven writing, described as up-close-and-personal dreamy country, tracks through jazz and Americana traditions. From these sonic footings it reaches up through sun-drenched West coast pop (Sophie marinated her music in Victoria, BC, before throwing it on the grill in Dawson City) to a dynamic stasis that is entirely her own.
