RPM Challenge
Well, the results of the RPM Challenge are in, and we’re having a listening party this Saturday!
During the month of February, eight Yukon residents completed the RPM Challenge – a month-long international endeavor to write, record and release an album consisting of 10 songs or 35 minutes of original material. DCMF worked with RPM international to facilitate a community hub here in Dawson, in partnership with the North Klondike Highway Music Society and KIAC, and we are 100% thrilled with the result! The material produced is incredible and we’re already scheming and dreaming for RPM 2018!
On March 19th tracks from each RPM album were featured internationally on WSCA FM during a 24-hour live show that spun the globe. On Saturday, March 25th, we’ll be airing tracks and interviews locally on CFYT during “Snowed In” with Mike and Dan. Tune into 106.9 FM from 5-7pm or listen via the CFYT website!
